Keep people at the center.

Strengthen your practice in service of more responsive, respectful, person-centered support.

A note from the founder
“When we invest in the people doing the work, we strengthen the services that change lives.”

Meet the founder

Built from experience.
Shared with purpose.

I’m Shaun Niyo-Ramdas, a homeless services professional and program operations leader. My experience in Los Angeles County’s homeless services system includes supporting youth, family, and adult interim housing programs at a system funder and grant administrator level.

Working alongside nonprofit organizations, program leaders, case managers, and frontline staff has shown me how much practical training and operational guidance matter.

I created the Learning Lab to share what I’ve learned, support continued professional growth, and help individuals and organizations work more confidently and effectively.

From the Learning Lab journal

Keeping permanent housing at the center of the work.

A safe place to stay matters. So does helping participants move toward permanent housing. Read Shaun’s reflection on keeping that purpose visible in daily practice.
